Health Inequalities Research Network Conference 2018
The second Health Inequalities Research Network (HERON) Conference will be held on 31st October 2018 in London, at the Coin St Neighbourhood Centre.
HERON is an international public engagement network funded by the Wellcome Trust and aimed at people involved in action and research to tackle inequalities in health and health service use. It brings together people from the community, local charities, public health researchers and health practitioners with a vision of having a collaborative approach to research in the community.
HERON 2018 will include presentations, workshops, discussion, art and more on the theme of ‘current and future directions in health equality research and action’from researchers, community organisations, and healthcare representatives. The conference will take a future-orientated perspective to explore how we can learn from present research and tackle inequalities through future research and action.
